Fibroblast growth factor 1 (FGF-1)
This is a collagen made by treatment with enzyme from insoluble collagen fibers. By enzyme treatment, a portion with strong antigenicity at end of collagen molecules is removed by enzyme treatment, and made a chemical bond of succinic acid to make increase solubility and compatibility in a neutral region to create “Succinoyl Atelocollagen”. It is widely used in medical field as a collagen with less antigenecity.
